SEO — Settings & audit trail: the real screen
The real screen used in this guide.

In simple words

Settings & audit trail is part of SEO. Rules, permissions and history. This guide takes you through it in 7 short steps.

Where it fits in your work — Publish. The sitemap and robots.txt you manage here drive your live website.

Before you start

  • You need to be signed in to your company's workspace. SEO appears in the Workspace dashboard and in the left menu when your role includes it.
  • What you can see and change depends on your role. If a menu item or button is missing, ask your workspace owner to give your role access in Workspace → Users.
  • Settings & audit trail belongs to Work in SEO. Rules, permissions and history.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Open SEO

Sign in and open the SEO panel from your Workspace dashboard (or sign in to it directly). You see only what your role allows.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Open “SEO Settings”

In the left menu, click “SEO Settings”. The “SEO Settings” screen opens.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Find what you need

Type in the search box (“http://demo.localhost:3000”) to find a record quickly.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Narrow the list

Use these filters to see only what you want:

    • Site origin
    • Max pages
    • Parallel requests
    • Timeout per page (ms)
    • Max external links checked
    • Check external links for 404s
    • Excluded path prefixes (one per line)
    • Title min chars
    • Title max chars
    • Description min chars
    • Description max chars
    • Thin content below (words)
    • Slow response above (ms)
    • Stale after (days)
  5. 5

    Step 5

    Read the list

    Each row shows:

    • Permission
    • SEO Executive
    • SEO Specialist
    • SEO Manager
    • SEO Admin
  6. 6

    Step 6

    Other actions on this screen

You will also see these buttons:

    • Test connection
    • Save settings
  7. 7

    Step 7

    Done

    Rules, permissions and history.

Tips

  • You can use more than one filter together (Site origin, Max pages, Parallel requests) to see exactly the records you want.
  • The search box accepts: http://demo.localhost:3000. Start typing and the list narrows down.
  • Click a row to open that record and see all of its details.
  • If you make a mistake, open the record again and correct it. Changes are recorded against your name so your team can see who did what.
