Maintenance mode

Maintenance mode is part of Public Website. Work on the site safely. This guide takes you through it in 7 short steps.
Where it fits in your work — Choose a theme. Start from a neutral starter site that is live from day one.
Before you start
- You need to be signed in to your company's workspace. Public Website appears in the Workspace dashboard and in the left menu when your role includes it.
- What you can see and change depends on your role. If a menu item or button is missing, ask your workspace owner to give your role access in Workspace → Users.
- Maintenance mode belongs to Your public website in Public Website. Work on the site safely.
Step by step

Open Public Website
Sign in and open the Public Website panel from your Workspace dashboard (or sign in to it directly). You see only what your role allows.

Open “Settings”
In the left menu, click “Settings”. The “CMS Settings” screen opens.

Find what you need
Type in the search box (“https://…”) to find a record quickly.

Narrow the list
Use these filters to see only what you want:
- Maintenance mode
- Browser tab title
- Heading
- Default social share image
- Company legal name
- Google Analytics 4 IDs
- Google Tag Manager containers
- Microsoft Clarity projects

Click “Add” to add one. A form opens for the details.

Tips
- You can use more than one filter together (Maintenance mode, Browser tab title, Heading) to see exactly the records you want.
- The search box accepts: https://…. Start typing and the list narrows down.
- If you make a mistake, open the record again and correct it. Changes are recorded against your name so your team can see who did what.

About Maintenance mode and Public Website.
I cannot see Maintenance mode in the menu.
Your role may not include it. Ask your workspace owner to open Workspace → Users and give your role access to Public Website.
