Costing

In simple words

Costing is part of SelfRun SprintOS. Budget, cost and profitability per project. This guide takes you through it in 6 short steps.

Where it fits in your work — Deliver. Team members update tasks and log time; overdue work notifies the assignee.

Before you start

• You need to be signed in to your company's workspace. SelfRun SprintOS appears in the Workspace dashboard and in the left menu when your role includes it.
• What you can see and change depends on your role. If a menu item or button is missing, ask your workspace owner to give your role access in Workspace → Users.
• Costing belongs to Time & money in SelfRun SprintOS. Budget, cost and profitability per project.

Step by step

   Step 1

   Open SelfRun SprintOS

   Sign in and open the SelfRun SprintOS product from your Workspace dashboard (or sign in to it directly). You see only what your role allows.

   Open “Project Costing”

   In the left menu of SelfRun SprintOS, open the page called “Project Costing” (some pages sit inside a menu group — click the group to expand it).

   Narrow the list

   Use these filters to see only what you want:

   • Date Range
   • Granularity
   • Status
   • Priority
   • Billing Model
   • Health Filter

   Read the list

   Each row shows:

   • Project
   • Value
   • Est. Cost
   • Actual Cost
   • Logged / Est. Hrs
   • Profit / Loss
   • Margin

   • Export XLSX

   Budget, cost and profitability per project.

Tips

• You can use more than one filter together (Date Range, Granularity, Status) to see exactly the records you want.
• Use “Export XLSX” to download what you see, for example to share it or keep a copy.
• Click a row to open that record and see all of its details.
• If you make a mistake, open the record again and correct it. Changes are recorded against your name so your team can see who did what.
